Spring is here which means it’s time to get back outside! We are also thrilled to pick back up with our #CoachFeatureSeries!

Today we would like to introduce Coach Alysa Manwill, head coach for the Girls 08 White team. Here’s a little more about Coach Alysa…

I come from a family of 9 kids. I grew up in St. Louis Missouri and moved out to Utah to play soccer at Dixie State University. Throughout college I ran training sessions at soccer camps and subbed for different coaches. After I finished playing in college I decided I wanted to give back by coaching!

What I love about soccer is being able to share my favorite thing in the world the girls on my team. Soccer is one of the things that made the biggest impact on my life.

When it comes to personal soccer philosophies I believe soccer is just as much a mental game as it is a physical game!!! Don’t underestimate the importance of being mentally strong.

When I’m not coaching I work as an Accounting Manager for an outdoor apparel company called Coalatree.

My hobbies include mountain biking, snowboarding and I play the piano and viola!

We are so lucky to have Coach Alysa a part of the CFC family! Thanks for all you do for our club and your team coach!
